February Fun!

Bell Idol
Feb. 29, 2008

Ray sang in an accapella group. This picture is a little dark, but he is the fourth from the right.
They sang, "Down By the Riverside" -

Then Ray and his friend Chad performed an original piano duet called, "20 Fingers on Ivory". They looked sharp! And it was entertaining, as well!

Tour of the State Capitol Building
Feb. 28th, 2008

Dave, Jana, Lori, and Ray were able to attend a special
meeting with their district's House of Representative's
Brad Dee. Part of the meeting included a tour of the newly
reburbished State Capitol building. (Kyle was out of town with
his theatre group.)

Blue & Gold Banquet
Feb. 27, 2008

A Chinese New Year Celebration!
Since Jana is Cubmaster, the Blue and Gold Banquet is a big event. But with lots of help it turned out to be a great evening. (It's especially nice when it's over!)

Family Retreat 2008
Feb. 17 & 18th

We enjoyed a wonderful Family Retreat.

This year we stayed at Cameron and Sarah's. They were great hosts!
We had a delicious Sunday dinner. Sarah cooked a roast for us, so it would be ready when we arrived.

We called Corey and Alisa in Boston, and they participated with us via the speaker phone!
We took turns answering questions from a jar. It was fun to hear the various responses.

After a good night's rest, we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.

After breakfast and doing the calendar and goals,
Cameron and Ray made good use of their time playing a game while they waited for everyone to get ready to go to a movie.

Before heading home,
Ray had to stop at the Simply Mac store!
- Be My Valentine! -

Our Valentine's dinner was squeezed in between everyone's busy schedule. But we did enjoy homemade lasagna and some fun drinks compliments of Ray!
