A New Year 2008!

New Year's Eve Celebration

Lori loves puzzles. She did this in one day!

Our traditional New Year's Eve Dinner
This year we had Fondue! Yummy!

Lori and Dave blow the "Happy New Year" horns
out on the porch. (Along with other neighbors as well!)

It's hard to believe it's January!

Happy New Year 2008!
Mr. New Year visits our home and leaves surprises in the shoes we put out the night before.Cameron and Sarah were away so the shoe covers made a good subsitute! Corey and Alisa left the only extra shoes (or boot) they had here before leaving on their school trip to Egypt.

It's a tradition celebrated by Jana's family for
generations- probably from the Holland ancestors.

For breakfast we had pancakes made
with fun pancake molds Corey & Alisa gave to Jana for her birthday.

Fun, fun!

The shoe idea is such a great idea! We are going to doing it next New Year. Hope you don't mind me stealing your tradition.
Love,
Kelli
